Raju Nepal retires from banking sector

KATHMANDU, JAN 12: 

Raju Nepal, a senior banker, has announced his retirement from the banking sector effective from April 2013. Nepal, who has experience of over 23 years in the banking sector, is currently working in the capacity of assistant general manager, operations, at Citizens Bank International. He has already informed about his decision to the board of directors and the CEO of the bank. Nepal started his banking career from Nepal Grindlays Bank, currently known as Standard Chartered Bank. After serving the bank for almost three years, he joined Himalayan Bank. He then moved to Nepal Bank Limited and worked with the management team appointed under management contract between Nepal Rastra Bank and Bank of Scotland ICC Consulting. Nepal has also published a book titled ´Nepal: Each Place A Holy Place´, which is a collection of photos of 108 religious sites in the country.
