Qatar Airways bags 'Best Business Class Airline' for 2nd year in a row

Qatar Airways has bagged the Best Business Class Airline award at the Business Traveller Awards 2014 held recently in London.
This is the second year in a row that Qatar Airways won the title, the airline said in a statement on Thursday.

The airline said that it had also been named the Best Business Class Airline by Skytrax at the Farnborough Air Show in July. “At the Business Traveller Awards 2014, Qatar Airways was also named as a finalist in several other categories -- Best Airline, Best Long-Haul Airline, Best Economy Class, Best Middle Eastern Airline and Best Cabin Staff,” Qatar Airways said in its statement.

According to the statement, the Business Traveller Awards are voted for by readers of the Business Traveller magazine with the results authenticated by an independent auditing company and is widely recognized as the airline industry´s benchmark for excellence. “Winning this accolade for a second consecutive year is a testament to the five-star service and quality that our customers have come to expect from Qatar Airways,” the statement quoted Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker as saying.
