Pyakuryal elected prez of Nepal Economic Association

KATHMANDU, Sept 6 :

The 25th annual general meeting of the Nepal Economic Association (NEA) has unanimously elected an executive committee headed by Prof Bishwambher Pyakuryal as president Saturday.

 A statement by the association said other vice presidents elected unopposed are Bhawani Dhungana and Chiranjivi Nepal. Similarly, Gopal Prasad Tiwari has been elected as secretary general. Khom Raj Kharel and Prof Shanta Singh, have been elected secretary and treasurer, respectively.

Similarly, the AGM elected Prithvi Raj Ligal, Posh Raj Pandey, Prof Bijaya Shrestha, Prof Keshav Raj Khadka, Madhav Prasad Dahal, Mani Kumar Nepal, Shivaraj Adhikari, Yadavmani Upadhyaya, Nabin Adhikari and Jamuna Shrestha as members.
