Promoting Financial Literacy: Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank's Efforts During Global Money Week
During Global Money Week, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL) conducted a financial literacy program on 7th Chaitra 2080, aligning with the annual celebration from March 22 to 28, coordinated with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) to advocate for financial education among teenagers and young adults.
The bank organized various literacy programs as part of this initiative. Specifically, during Global Money Week 2024, the bank completed a financial literacy program for government employees of Golbazar Municipality, Saptari.
Led by Mr. Prakash Ghimire and attended by Mr. Dimash Amatya, the program aimed to educate participants on banking facilities, savings, loans, and digital transactions.
Over 60 dignitaries from Golbazar Municipality attended the event, where Deputy Mayor Shah highlighted the importance of such programs in enhancing knowledge about financial matters.
The bank currently provides advanced service facilities through 135 networks, 77 ATMs, and various branchless service centers.
