Profits of Butwal Power Company increases by 14% to Rs.75.08 Crore; EPS for the third quarter stands at Rs.30.77

Butwal Power Company Limited (BPCL) has reported profit after tax of Rs 75.08 crore in the Q3 of FY 2075/2076. The profit of the company has increased by 14% in this quarter compared to the corresponding quarter of last fiscal year. The total comprehensive gain stands at Rs 69.13 Crore.

As per the unaudited report published today, the revenue has increased to Rs 52.97 crore in Q3 of FY 2075/2076 from Rs 52.78 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal year.  The BPCL finance income increases massively to Rs 12.59 crore from Rs 1.28 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year.

The company's generation, distribution and finance expenses are Rs 17.68 crore, Rs 10.18 crore and Rs 3.14 crore respectively, in Q3 of FY 2075/2076. The paid up capital stands at Rs 2.44 arba by the end of the third quarter.

The EPS of the hydropower company stands at Rs 30.77 while net worth per share at Rs 278.71. PE ratio of 11.70 times was reported for the third quarter end.
