Profit of Civil Bank surges by 64% in the first quarter; Net worth stands at Rs 125.66

Civil Bank Limited (CBL) has reported a rise in its net profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76. As per the quarterly report published today, the net profit has increased by 63.99% in Q1 of the current the fiscal year.
The bank’s profit has increased from Rs 11.28 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2074/75 to Rs 18.50 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76. In the first quarter of the FY 2075/76, the bank had Rs 12.12 crore as Free Profit after Regulatory Adjustments which can be utilized in distributing dividends to its shareholders.
The bank’s deposit has decent growth rate of 15.15% to Rs 39.43 arba and loans and advances have also increased by 34.43% to Rs 41.94 arba in the first quarter.
The net interest income of the bank has increased to Rs 58.64 crore from Rs 32.50 crore of the corresponding quarter.
The bank’s paid up capital stands at Rs 8.003 arba with Rs 2.05 arba as its reserve as of the end of Q1 of FY 2075/76.
The Non-Performing Loan (NPL) has decreased to 3.06% from 4.69%.
In the first quarter, the EPS of the bank stands at Rs 9.25. The net worth per share stands at Rs 125.66.
