PROFIT BOOKING DRAGS NEPSE FURTHER

The profit booking in the market today also dragged the market further down.
Starting from the opening the selling pressure cripple the market, leading to tumble of 3.23 points by the end of the session.
The local bourse came to settle at 539.4 levels at the end of the day.
Among the sub-indices, Hydro suffered the highest loss as it plummeted by 6.57 points. Similarly, Banking sector also came down by 5.82 points.
Likewise, Finance descended by 0.67 points alongside 0.47 point drop of Manufacturing and 2.35 point dive of Others sector.
Whereas Insurance sector leaped by 13.92 points followed by Development with 31.95 point gain.
All in all, the scrips of 104 companies were traded, out of which 36 scrips gained, 13 remained intact and 55 scrips lost.
The highest gainer among the scrips traded this week was Nirdhan Utthan Bank Ltd. (NUBL) that closed at Rs 369, gaining of Rs 33 or 9.82%.
Whereas, Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC), closed at Rs 275, was the highest loser with Rs 42, or 13.25%, loss.
In terms of the highest shares traded among mutual fund, Nabil Balance Fund 1 (NBF1), closed at Rs 10.07, topped with 15,824 units whereas among the ordinary scrips trading above par, Commerz and Trust Bank Nepal Ltd. (CTBNL), closed at Rs 154, topped with 88,809 units.
In case of highest turnover, Everest Bank Ltd (EBL), closed at Rs 1782, topped with 10,990 units worth Rs 19,463,296 via 81 transactions; in which Broker no 10 (Pragyan Securities Pvt. Limited) was the most active Broker with 17.85% standalone dealing of NICA, tallying 3933 units worth Rs 6,951,978 via 28 transactions which include 2 matching transactions totaling 1000 units worth Rs 1,770,000.
Overall, 353,579 units of share were traded by 1,694 transactions worth Rs 117,889,193; the market capitalization at the end of the week stood at Rs 537,428.02 million.
