Private Sector Joins Hands for Disaster Preparedness: Life Jackets Handed to Security Forces

To enhance disaster preparedness, especially during floods and landslides, life jackets were distributed to Nepal Police and Armed Police Force through the joint effort of Sitaram Dairy, Kirtipur Municipality Ward No. 4, and Kedia Foundation.

The initiative emphasizes that disaster response is a shared responsibility of the entire community, not just security forces. The support aims to ensure safer rescue operations and sends a strong message about the role of the private sector in disaster mitigation. The event concluded with life jacket handovers in the presence of local leaders, police, and rescue stakeholders.
