Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has emphasized the government's commitment to prioritizing legal amendments aimed at attracting foreign investment. Speaking at the 57th meeting of the Investment Board Nepal, where he serves as the Board Chair, the Prime Minister underscored the significance of these legal reforms in facilitating both domestic and foreign investment, particularly in Nepal's infrastructure and service sectors.

Highlighting the importance of projecting Nepal as an investment-friendly destination on the global stage, Prime Minister Dahal stressed the need to send a clear message to the international community regarding the conducive investment environment in Nepal. With the meeting coinciding with the upcoming Investment Summit, the Prime Minister emphasized the urgency of mobilizing efforts to promote Nepal's investment potential both domestically and internationally, urging for efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.

Emphasizing the importance of tangible results in government performance to attract foreign investment, Prime Minister Dahal urged ministries and departments to focus on outcome-oriented approaches. Furthermore, he urged the Investment Board to redouble its efforts in fostering an environment conducive to large-scale private investment.

In line with fostering economic growth and transformation, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of instilling optimism among the populace and creating a foundation for rapid economic development. He stressed the need for public-private partnerships (PPPs) to drive Nepal's development agenda forward, directing the Board to prioritize initiatives aimed at fostering such collaborations.

Additionally, Prime Minister Dahal highlighted the importance of orienting government bodies at all levels, including provinces and local governments, towards exploring and implementing results-oriented PPP projects successfully. This, he emphasized, is crucial for unlocking Nepal's developmental potential and achieving rapid progress.
