Prime Life proposes 12.5% bonus worth Rs 22.31 crore; SGM to be held on Ashoj 07, 2076

The 125th BOD meeting of Prime Life Insurance Company Limited (PLIC) has decided to convene its special general meeting (SGM) on Ashoj 07, 2076 (September 24, 2019) at Agrawal Bhawan, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu from 3 PM onwards.

The agenda of the SGM includes:

• Proposal of 12.5% bonus worth Rs 22 crore 31 lakh 4 thousand 375 from the accumulated profit of the company till 2073/74 along with cash dividend of Rs 1 crore 17 lakh 42 thousand 336 from tax purposes
• Increment of issued and paid-up capital to the limit of increment in capital after bonus distribution, with necessary changes in MOA and AOA

The company has announced its book closure date on Bhadra 31, 2076 (September 17, 2019) for the purpose of SGM. The shareholders maintained on Bhadra 30th will be eligible to participate in the SGM and receive bonus.

The paid up capital of PLIC stands will reach Rs 200.80 crore after the adjustment of proposed bonus share.
