Prime Life Insurance to convene its 12th AGM on Ashad 29; to endorse 12.5% bonus share agenda

The 135th BOD meeting of Prime Life Insurance Company Limited (PLIC) has decided to convene its 12th annual general meeting (AGM) on Ashad 29, 2077 (July 13, 2020) at Agrawal Bhawan, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu from 2 PM onwards.
The agenda of the AGM includes:
- Proposal of 12.5% bonus worth Rs 25.09 crore from the accumulated profit of the company till 2074/75 along with cash dividend of Rs 1.23 crore for tax purposes
- Increment of issued and paid-up capital to the limit of increment in the capital after bonus distribution, with necessary changes in MOA and AOA
- Other agendas of the meeting include endorsement of audited financial report for the FY 2074/75, the appointment of statutory auditor for the FY 2075/76
The company has announced its book closure date on Ashad 19, 2077 (July 3, 2020) for the purpose of AGM. The shareholders maintained on Ashad 18 will be eligible to receive dividends and to participate in the AGM.
The paid-up capital of PLIC will reach Rs 225.88 crore after the adjustment of the proposed bonus share.
