Prime Life Insurance Company Limited (PLIC) has proposed a 15.87% dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77.
The meeting of the board of directors has proposed 15% bonus shares and 0.87% cash dividend (tax purpose) from the paid-up capital for the fiscal year 2076/77. The paid-up capital of the company is Rs. 2,41,70,57,023. Thus, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 36,25,58,554 and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 1,90,82,029.
Note that the dividend will only be distributed after approval by Beema Samiti and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM.
As of writing, the LTP of the company stands at Rs. 900.
