Prime Life, Hannover Re sign reinsurance pact

KATHMANDU, Dec 9:
Prime Life Insurance has entered into an reinsurance agreement with Hannover to reduce its insurance risks. Prime Life CEO Manoj Kumar Bhattarai and Ravinder Singh, who looks after Hannover Re´s Asia Pacific and South Asian operations, signed an agreement to this effect on Tuesday.
“With this reinsurance agreement, it is expected that clients will have confidence on life insurance company in country like Nepal which is vulnerable to earthquakes and other natural disasters,” Prime Life said in a statement.
