Prime Commercial Bank Wins Mahalaxmi Corporate Cricket League 2026 Season 5

The Mahalaxmi Corporate Cricket League 2026 (Season 5) was successfully concluded in Kathmandu as part of Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited’s 32nd anniversary celebrations. The four-day tournament featured 24 teams representing commercial banks, development banks, finance companies, microfinance institutions, insurance companies, and merchant banks.

Prime Commercial Bank emerged as the champion, while Machhapuchchhre Bank secured the runner-up position. The award distribution ceremony was held later in the presence of former national cricket captain Gyanendra Malla.

Individual awards were also presented, with outstanding performances recognized across categories such as best batsman, bowler, wicketkeeper, fielder, and player of the tournament. Sanima GIC Insurance won the Fair Play Award.

The bank expressed gratitude to all sponsors, participating teams, and contributors for making the tournament a success, highlighting the event as a platform to promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and corporate unity in the banking sector.
