Prime Commercial Bank Signs Investment Deal for 2 MW Arun Khola Hydropower Project

Prime Commercial Bank Limited has signed an investment agreement to finance the 2 MW Arun Khola II Hydropower Project being promoted by Himalayan Engineering and Energy.

The agreement was signed by Narayan Prasad Shrestha on behalf of the bank and Om Prasad Bhattarai representing the project developer.

The project’s estimated cost stands at Rs 48 crores 64 lakhs, with the bank financing Rs 30 crores as loan investment, while the remaining amount will be arranged by the promoter company.

According to the agreement, the project is expected to generate 13.18 GWh of electricity annually, including 4.864 GWh during the dry season and 8.319 GWh during the monsoon season, with a target to complete construction within 15 months.
