Price of Gold Reaches Rs 101,400 by Gaining Rs. 500 Per Tola in National Market Today; Silver Up By Rs. 15

The price of gold has surged by Rs. 500 in the Nepalese market today.

According to the official website of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded today at Rs. 101,400 per tola whereas Tejabi gold is being traded at Rs. 100,900 per tola. Yesterday, the rate of fine gold was maintained at Rs 100,900, and the price of Tejabi gold stood at Rs 100,400 per tola. Over the past week, the rate of gold has soared by Rs. 1100 per tola.

On the sideline, silver has gained Rs. 15 per tola. The lustrous white metal is being traded in the local market today at Rs. 1,395 per tola, compared to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,380 per tola.

The price of gold and silver has been rising gradually in the national and international markets. The current rate of gold in the international market has reached USD $1,817.20 while silver is being traded at $23.94 per ounce. The gold price was USD $1,793.61 per ounce a week ago (last Friday).
