Praveen Lamichhane Elected Unopposed as President of Nepal Recondition Auto Entrepreneurs Association
Nepal Recondition Auto Entrepreneurs Association has unanimously elected Praveen Lamichhane as its new president during the third national convention and 9th–10th annual general meeting held in Kathmandu.
The convention also selected a new working committee, including Pradeep Rana Magar as vice president, Kumari Bogati as general secretary, Dukpa Ghale as secretary, and Manish Raj Pandey as treasurer, along with several other members.
The event, chaired by outgoing president Ramesh Koirala, was attended by dignitaries including Bagmati Province Minister for Labour, Employment and Transport Jairam Thapa. Speakers emphasized the need for business development, professional discipline, and increased consumer trust in the auto sector.
On the occasion, journalist Kamala Bhandari was honored with the “Nepal Recondition Auto Entrepreneurs Association Journalism Award 2083” for her contribution to promoting the auto industry through journalism, along with a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.
The association reaffirmed its commitment to making the reconditioned auto business more organized, transparent, and consumer-friendly in the coming years.
