KATHMANDU, OCT 08 -

The Prabhu Group and Hello Paisa have signed an agreement to allow various business es in the Prabhu Group network, consisting of more than 3,500 agents and 1,500 cooperatives nationwide, to provide end-to-end mobile financial services (MFS) offered by the Hello Paisa Network.

The pact permits all the touch points of Prabhu Finance, Prabhu Money Transfer and Prabhu Management to offer state-of-the-art mobile financial services and act as Hello Paisa Operators (agents).

The deal was signed by Prabhu Group Vice-President Kusum Lama and Hello Paisa Cofounder Sanjay B Shah amid a programme on Sunday. The two companies said in a joint statement that the accord would play a vital role in enhancing the delivery of financial services to all parts of the country. It will also enable financial access and enhance financial inclusion, thus empowering the customers of all the banks and financial institutions (BFIs) in Nepal, they added.

Nepal’s first and only shared access and totally interoperable Hello Paisa Mobile Financial Services platform enables all categories of BFIs to launch MFS.

This enables them to provide access to finance for all through mobile and branchless banking using the Hello Paisa platform, which is in line with Nepal Rastra Bank and government policy of taking financial services to all corners of the country.

Currently, the Hello Paisa network includes seven BFIs as partner banks.
