Poudel elected NBA president

Nepal Bankers’ Association (NBA) has elected Upendra Poudel, chief executive officer of NMB Bank, as its new president.
The 28th annual general meeting (AGM) of NBA on Friday elected Poudel unanimously. He was vice-president of the bankers’ body.
The AGM also elected Mega Bank CEO Anil Shah and Global IME Bank CEO Ratna Raj Bajracharya as vice-presidents. Shah was a member in the previous executive committee.
The NBA consists 30 commercial banks and NIDC Development Bank.
