Pokhara Rhinos partners with TVS Motorcycle and Clean Energy Nepal for Breathe Clean - Unmask Nepal campaign; show your solidarity at Pokhara for clean and green Pokhara

Pokhara Rhino, Franchisee team of EPL owned by J4Sports, has started a partnership with TVS and Clean Energy Nepal (CEN) to raise awareness against Air Pollution in the country.

An information booth to provide information regarding the current air pollution situation of the country was allotted as a part of Pokhara Street Festival from Dec 31st of 2019, a start for "Breathe Clean" Campaign by Team Pokhara Rhinos and affiliations of Clean Energy Nepal (CEN).

Pokhara Rhinos is a cricket team under the ownership of Jagdamba Sports Pvt. Ltd., participating in the upcoming cricket tournament, ‘Everest Premier League 2020’, which will be held in Tribhuvan University Stadium of Kirtipur, Kathmandu from 14th to 28th of March. Big names of cricket and generally, from around the globe, are anticipated to be seen in the event, with some class A international players participating as team players representing each team of the tournament, bidding towards rise of international standard cricket tournaments in Nepal.

EPL is a city based T20 cricket tournament that was started with a motive to influence people to bring positive change through sports, important issues of the nation acknowledged and plans and implementation to positively impact the issue are participating criteria of the tournament, set as corporate social responsibility for owner companies, and this year Pokhara Rhinos with participation in the tournament, have plans to raise awareness against air pollution scene of the country and have commenced the idea by petition signing, information providing and fund raising activities from a kiosk in Pokhara Street Festival.

Air pollution facts and figures of current Nepal, petition signing to reach authorities to voice to make required changes in the country’s current air pollution scenario, team and campaign merchandise sale to make contributions to a tree planting event happening later in March in Pokhara, EPL tournament and team promotion are some of the activities of the booth in the festival.
