Pm urged to prioritise energy, production

KATHMANDU, MAY 01 -

Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) on Wednesday urged Prime Minister Sushil Koirala to intensify efforts to develop the energy sector with an aim of ending load-shedding within the next three years.

FNCCI also urged the Prime Minister to focus on the production sector in the same manner.  

An FNCCI delegation headed by President Pradeep Jung Pandey and represented by executive committee members as well as former presidents asked Koirala to make efforts to develop these two sectors under the slogan of “Energy and Production, Call of all Nepalis.”

FNCCI also asked Koirala to intensify efforts for the development of major infrastructure projects like Kathmandu -Hetauda Tunnel Highway, Budhigandaki and Devighat hydropower projects.
