PM Prachanda's Commitments: Action on Gorakhkali Rubber Udhyog and Budhigandaki Hydropower

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as 'Prachanda,' assured the representatives of Gorkha that immediate action would be taken on the operation of Gorakhkali Rubber Udhyog and the construction of the Budhigandaki Hydropower Project.
During a meeting with mayors, deputy mayors, and other representatives from various rural municipalities of Gorkha district, PM Dahal emphasized fulfilling election promises. Barpak Sulikot rural municipality Chairman, Bishnu Prasad Bhatta, informed that the Prime Minister discussed the situation in different municipalities, development plans, and needs with the chiefs of rural municipalities. PM Dahal expressed commitment to advancing the construction of the national pride project, Budhigandaki Hydropower, promptly.
The closed Gorakhkali rubber industry in Gorkha Municipality-13 is also set to reopen soon, following a public-private partnership model, with the government retaining land ownership. The Prime Minister pledged to allocate a budget in the upcoming fiscal year for the development of roads and other physical infrastructures in Gorkha, aiming for improvements over the current fiscal year. Representatives from various municipalities in Gorkha, including the District Coordination Committee Chief and deputy mayor, met with the Prime Minister at Baluwatar.
