PM K. P. Sharma Oli opens bank account with Nepal Bank; initiates use of new Nagarik app. To get his bank account opened
Honorable Prime Minister of Nepal K.P. Sharma Oli has opened a bank account with Nepal Bank via Nagarik app. on the occasion of 4th National ICT Day.
The new Nagarik mobile app. Consists of a range of necessary documents such as PAN card, police report, land record, academic records, citizenship card, voter id card, and passport.
One can also use a QR code scanner in the app. To open an online bank account, submit a PSC application, request for new SIM card, and use it as the digital id proof anywhere, as per the media statement.
The bank currently has 207 branches, 41 extension counters, and 146 ATM outlets under its network.
