Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has addressed the ongoing deadlock within the House of Representatives, assuring that discussions are actively underway at the political level to bring about a resolution imminently. Speaking briefly to media representatives in Biratnagar today, Prime Minister Dahal underscored the commitment to resolve the impasse through dialogue.

He conveyed confidence in the efficacy of dialogue, emphasizing the need to comprehensively assess the issues surrounding cooperative fraud and the roles of Rastriya Swatantra Party's chairperson and Home Minister, Rabi Lamichhane, independently.

"The demand for the formation of a parliamentary probe committee with Deputy Prime Minister Lamichhane at its center cannot be entertained," affirmed the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Dahal highlighted the politicization of issues within the cooperative sector by opposition parties, characterizing it as a shift from addressing the matter to leveraging it for political gains following changes in political alliances.

"Previously, when the Nepali Congress was part of the government, the issue of cooperative fraud was of lesser concern. However, since their departure from the government, demands for a parliamentary probe committee centered around Rabi Lamichhane have surfaced, indicative of political bias," elucidated Prime Minister Dahal.

He further asserted that attempts to disrupt the existing political equilibrium would prove futile.
