PCPS College to Provide Seed Funding for Student Startups
Patan College for Professional Studies (PCPS) College will provide seed funding to students launching startups, based on outstanding project proposals, the college announced at its graduation ceremony.

LBEF Group Chairman Pankaj Kumar Jalan said the initiative aims to promote youth entrepreneurship and create employment opportunities at home, challenging the notion that students must go abroad after graduating. Graduates will receive seed capital along with technical support based on their business projects.
A total of 57 students graduated at the Kathmandu ceremony on Tuesday 32 from BSc in Computer Science and Software Engineering batch of 2025 and 25 from BSc in Software Engineering batch of 2026. PCPS, established in 2017 and affiliated with the University of Bedfordshire, UK, said it has established itself as one of the country's leading educational institutions.
LBEF Group Executive Director Prakash Kajariwal and University of Bedfordshire Professor Andrew Church also spoke at the event, reaffirming their commitment to providing international-standard education in Nepal.
