Paramount Motors Expands EV Portfolio, Set to Unveil New Wuling Lineup at NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026
Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd. is preparing a major expansion in Nepal’s electric vehicle market with the launch of several new models from Wuling Motors during the upcoming NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026 scheduled for August 11–16 at Bhrikutimandap.
After entering Nepal’s EV market in 2023, Paramount Motors is now strengthening its position with an aggressive product expansion backed by the global manufacturing strength of SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW), one of the world’s largest automobile manufacturers with more than 30 million vehicles produced worldwide.
As part of the expansion, the company plans to introduce multiple EV models targeting different consumer segments. The upcoming lineup includes the Wuling Eksion EV, a premium 7-seater SUV equipped with a 69.2 kWh battery offering up to 530 kilometers of range, advanced driver assistance systems, flexible seating arrangements, and large cargo capacity aimed at family-oriented buyers.
The company will also launch the Wuling Mini EV, a compact four-door city car designed primarily for urban commuting. Built on Wuling’s Global Small Electric Vehicle platform, the vehicle is expected to deliver a driving range of up to 301 kilometers while remaining competitively priced for Nepal’s growing demand for affordable electric mobility.
Another addition is the Wuling Darion MPV EV, a premium 7-seat electric multi-purpose vehicle featuring sliding doors, spacious interiors, and a long driving range of up to 540 kilometers, targeting consumers looking for comfortable long-distance travel options.
Similarly, the updated Wuling Binguo EV hatchback will return to Nepal with improved performance and two battery options offering ranges of 333 kilometers and 410 kilometers, respectively. The vehicle combines retro-inspired styling with premium interior features such as dual digital displays, larger cargo capacity, and enhanced safety technologies including ABS, EBD, and up to six airbags.
Paramount Motors said the new launches reflect its long-term strategy to accelerate Nepal’s transition toward sustainable transportation by providing a wider range of electric mobility solutions suited to different customer needs and budgets. With this expanded lineup, the company aims to further strengthen its leadership position in Nepal’s rapidly growing EV sector while bringing globally proven electric vehicle technology tailored specifically for the domestic market.
