PAC, Finance Ministry discuss fiscal yrs budget

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Parliament held discussions on the fiscal years budget with the Finance Ministry on Monday.
The PAC discussed the release of the budget with Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari and Finance Secretary Krishna Hari Baskota in Singhadurbar today.
The PAC also asked for the report on the transaction of the current fiscal budget with the Finance Ministry.
During the meeting, Adhikari stressed that agreements should be inked among the parties to release the budget within the next month. The ministry had actually planned to release the budget last month but it was delayed due to the opposition parties’ obstructions.
