Oriental Hotels holding AGM; 10 percent bonus shares to be endorsed

Oriental Hotels Ltd is holding its 17th annual general meeting today at Nepal Staff College Jawalakhel, Lalitpur.

The AGM is scheduled to endorse the proposal of distributing 10 percent bonus shares to its shareholders.
 
This is the first time that the hotel is offering dividend to its shareholders since it went to the public in 2057 BS. Oriental is operating Hotel Radisson in Lazimpat Kathmandu. The AGM is beginning from 11 AM.

According to Oriental Hotels, it has earned a net profit of Rs 21 crore in the last fiscal year, which is a significant gain as compared to a loss of Rs 15.94 crore it suffered in the previous fiscal year 2069/70.
