Oriental Hotel earns Rs 4.74 crore in Q3;  EPS mere Rs 7.19

Oriental Hotels Limited (OHL) has reported a 68.52 percent decline in its net profit in the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2072/73. Publishing the unaudited report for the third quarter today, the company that runs Hotel Radisson has stated that its net profit after tax  has drop to Rs 4.74 crore in the third quarter compared to Rs 15.06 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year 2071/72. Its operational profit has also decreased to Rs 16.78 crore from Rs 32.41 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year. Oriental Hotel has a share capital of Rs 65.97 crore in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73. The positive aspect of the report is that its reserve and surplus has risen to Rs 12.89 crore in Q3 compared to Rs 15.13 crore in the same period corresponding quarter. Its total operating expenditure stood at Rs 38.71 crore in Q3. Its earnings per share (EPS) stand at Rs 7.19, net worth per share is at Rs 119.55 and P/E ratio at 51.34 times..
