On first trading day of week, NEPSE ended in green by 9.02 points or 0.68% with Rs 111.10 crore turnover; 6 companies hit positive circuit break

The stock market closed with a 9.02 points incline at 1340.29 levels. This is a positive 0.68% uptick from last Thursday's close. Overall 20.51 points volatility was witnessed in the trading today, wherein highest level was 1351.82 and lowest was 1331.31. The NEPSE index was in green throughout 4 hour trading time. 

A total of 2,678,507 shares were traded amounting to Rs. 1,111,090,272 in the turnover amount. 179 scrips were traded via 16,826 transactions.

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) had the highest turnover of over 16.05 crores, closing at a market price of Rs. 1,276 per share. NLIC is tailed by Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) in terms of total turnover with a figure of 14 .34 crores. NRIC had the highest number of shares traded for the day among all companies.

Float is up by 0.57 points and is currently at 93.67. On the other hand, the Sensitive Index is currently at 281.42 after gaining 0.93 points from the previous close.

Suryodaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBS) gained the most (9.99%) while closing at Rs. 969. On the other side, Tinau Mission Development Bank Limited (TMDBL) lost the most 5.76% while closing at Rs. 180 LTP.

6 companies hit a positive circuit today including Suryodaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, the day's highest gainer.

7 sectors gained today while 5 others ended red. Microfinance gained the most 3.67% and Hotels lost the most 3.48%.
