On First Trading Day of the Week, NEPSE Increases in Double Digits with Massive Volume of Rs 1.942 Arba led by Life and Non life Insurance sector

The market today closed at 1,465.10 levels, an impressive 22.4 points, or 1.55% incline.
20.33 points volatility was witnessed in the trading today, wherein the highest level was 1465.10 and the lowest was 1444.77. Interestingly, today’s close was also intraday high.
A total of 4,500,603 shares exchanged hands amounting to a massive Rs. 1,942,679,380 in the turnover amount. 190 scrips were traded via 32,836 transactions.
Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has the highest turnover of Rs. 25.84 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1395 per share. Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the second-highest turnover of Rs. 19.94 crores. Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) also had the highest number of shares traded for the day among all companies.
Float is up by 1.54 points and is currently at 102.99. On the other hand, the Sensitive Index is currently at 307.53 after gaining 3.59 points from the previous close.
Mirmire Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MMFDB), Taragaon Regency Hotel Limited (TRH), and Joshi Hydropower Development Company Limited (JOSHI) hit a positive circuit today closing at Rs. 750, Rs. 254, and Rs. 50 LTP respectively. On the other hand, Best Finance Company Limited (BFC) lost the most 6.54%.
Hotels, Hydropower, and Mutual Fund lost today while all other sectors ended green. Life Insurance gained the most 3.96% while Hydropower lost the most 0.23%.
