Omoda Unveils Futuristic Omoda 5 EV with Cutting-Edge Features in Nepal

Omoda & Jaecoo Automobile Co. Ltd. is set to introduce its flagship electric vehicle, Omoda 5 EV, in Nepal. The much-anticipated vehicle was exclusively unveiled through an online livestream event hosted by Omoda China on December 28, 2023. The event, attended by key figures from the Sharda Group and media, showcased the futuristic design and cutting-edge features of the Omoda E5.

The Omoda E5 promises to revolutionize the electric vehicle market in Nepal with its impressive specifications. Boasting a 180 mm ground clearance, the vehicle claims to outshine competitors in its segment. With a 61 kWh battery capacity, 99 KW Motor Power, and 340 Nm torque, it offers a remarkable range of 510 Km (NEDC) and 430 Km (WLTP). The EV's sleek design includes a distinctive X-shaped front face, a dynamic fastback shape, and a host of interior features such as a 24.6-inch dual screen, ambient lighting, premium speakers, an electric sunroof, and advanced safety features.

To enhance the ownership experience, SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor for Omoda & Jaecoo Automobile Co. Ltd. in Nepal, plans to expand its infrastructure and service network. Omoda ensures its EV is optimized for Nepali landscapes and roads, providing users with a rich sense of experience and fast-charging capabilities in just 28 minutes from 30% to 80%.
