NT's CSR initiative

KATHMANDU:

Nepal Telecom (NT) on Monday signed an agreement with High Power Committee for Integrated Development of Bagmati Civilisation to build park on either side of Bagmati River along the stretch between Bagmati Bridge in Koteshwor to Manahara Bridge. As per the agreement, the state-owned company will also maintain the park to be built on 16 ropanis of land for five years. The agreement was signed between Madhusudan Karmacharya, acting managing director of NT and Rajesh Prasad Singh, member secretary of the committee. Karmacharya said that the company reached the agreement to contribute in preservation of the Bagmati River as part of its corporate social responsibility.
