NT's bundling service

KATHMANDU:

Nepal Telecom (NT) and IMS — the authorised distributor of Samsung mobile phones in Nepal — have made an agreement whereby NT will offer Samsung mobile sets on the purchase of NT sim cards under its ‘bundling’ service from NT’s office in Harihar Bhawan. The service was previously available only at exclusive Samsung mobile showrooms. Under the bundling scheme, customers buying Samsung handsets will get NT sim free, 10 per cent discount on handset and voice or data service equivalent to 15 per cent the cost of the handset for free. The two companies have included five Samsung handsets in the scheme.

For example, Samsung Galaxy S3, which costs Rs 39,500 will be available at Rs 35,550 and customers will be entitled to get data service worth Rs 5,880 for free. Other handsets included in the scheme are Samsung’s Galaxy Core, Galaxy Trend, Lakota and Guru.
