NRN Laghubitta re-announces SGM; Company to discuss on FPO issue

NRN Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has announced its Special General Meeting to be held on 18th Ashwin, 2077 at 11 am in Dhangadhi, Kailali (Hotel Dinesh).

Even though the SGM was expected to be organized on Bhadra 20, it was postponed until further notice because of the lockdown which was imposed in Kathmandu and other districts at that time. 

Among other proposals, the SGM will discuss issuing FPO (Follow-on Public Offering) to the general public.

Furthermore, the microfinance company will change its name as instructed by Nepal Rastra Bank and carry out necessary procedures. The company is also changing its corporate office address to Budhanilkantha, 9, Kathmandu.

Also, the SGM will elect four board members from promoters and two board members from the general investors for the four years-long operational term after the merger. 

Additionally, Kisan Microfinance Bitttiya Sanstha Limited, NRN Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, and Dibya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited have merged in the swap ratio 1:1:1. Their joint transaction has already commenced from Ashad 29, i.e. June 11.
