KATHMANDU, Aug 4:
The Nepal Financial Institution Employees Union of the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has warned of resuming their agitation, stating that the commitments made by the central bank´s talk committee have not been fulfilled.

Issuing a press statement Wednesday, the union said the workers´ demands on infrastructure development and employees´ benefits and promotion, among others have not been addressed.

"The NRB management has showed bias on new recruitment and promotion. This goes against the agreement that the talks committee reached with us," the statement added.

The union has warned of resuming agitation if the management failed to initiate negotiation with them.

"If the management chose to ignore our demands, we will unveil our agitation programs after holding discussion with unions members," the Padamraj Regmi, president of the union, said in the statement.
