The Non-Life Insurance Business Association, representing investors in Non life insurance companies, met with Dr. Nabaraj Adhikari, Executive Director of the Securities Board of Nepal, on Sunday to present suggestions.

The association highlighted issues arising from a regulation preventing directors from selling their shares for a year after taking office, which has caused difficulties for directors facing personal financial problems.

They requested a review of this rule, noting that in other countries, directors can sell shares in advance or with regulatory approval.

The association suggested implementing a similar system in Nepal. Attendees from the association included President Rajendra Malla, Vice President Manohar Das Mul, Treasurer Ramesh Kumar Niraula, and members Azad Shrestha and Balkrishna Shrestha.
