KATHMANDU, JUN 12 -
The executive committee of the state-owned oil monopoly Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked the price of petrol with immediate effect on Sunday.

With the revision, the price of petrol has climbed to Rs. 102 per litre from Rs 97 per litre.

No changes have been made in the prices of diesel, kerosene, and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), sources confirmed.

It is learnt that the NOC resorted to the price hike to keep up with the escalating fuel prices in the international market and reduce its losses.
