"No Committee is Above the Decision of the Honorable Supreme Court" - MP Hari Dhakal Remarks On Ongoing Conspiracy To Hinder New Broker Licenses

Member of Parliament (MP) Hari Dhakal has expressed his dissent with regard on the ongoing conspiracy to hinder new broker licences.

The Rastriya Swatantra Party cadre from Chitwan-1 constituency; took to his social media handle (facebook) hours ago to refute the decision made by the Finance committee under the House of Representatives (HoR) on Monday.

MP Dhakal, who has been actively advocating for the best interest of the capital market and the investors, writes, "No committee of this country has been created and should not be above the decision of the honorable Supreme Court."

He further questions if a decision made by any specific committee should put stoppage to SC-sanctioned decisons. "Is it even possible to suggest that the Supreme Court-sanctioned decision should be overturned based on a decision made by some specific committee. In a legal state, is this how things occur?"

Lastly, he requests to spare the sentiments of the investors and writes,"Let us accept the Supreme Court's decision and put an end to toying with the sentiments of market investors which play a crucial role in building wealth across various regions of the country."

The Finance Committee of the Federal Parliament has instructed a temporary halt to this process. Their rationale is to assess whether the minimum standards have been met or not.
