NMB Laghubitta Holds 13th Annual General Meeting in Pokhara

NMB Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited held its 13th Annual General Meeting in Pokhara on Chaitra 25, where the annual report for FY 2081/82, presented by Chairperson Krishna Dutta Bhattarai, was discussed and approved.

Acting CEO Sajal Khadka stated that although the microfinance sector had faced challenges in recent years, conditions are now improving and the sector is expected to move in a positive direction. He also committed to enhancing customer-friendly services through greater use of technology.

Representatives from NMB Bank and shareholders suggested the timely conduct of AGMs and better returns for investors. In response, the Chairperson assured that the suggestions would be implemented and noted positive signs of improvement in the financial sector with the formation of a new government. The meeting was conducted by Company Secretary Surya Bahadur Thapa at the central office in New Road, Pokhara.
