NMB Bank successfully organizes 8th NMB Bank Heritage Walk 2019

NMB Bank organized the ‘8^th NMB Bank Heritage Walk 2019’ on the occasion of World Heritage Day. The Bank has been working to create awareness on preservation of rich heritage sites over the years.

First initiated on the occasion of its 16^th Anniversary, the Bank has been organizing the Heritage Walk since the past seven years. Like every year, the sole purpose of this event was to raise awareness about the importance of preservation of our heritage sites among the local communities.

The event was inaugurated by representatives from the Bank’s Board of Directors and Mr. Sunil KC, Chief Executive Officer, NMB Bank. The Heritage Walk commenced from the Bank’s Sitapaila branch and concluded at Swoyambhu temple, following which a Clean Up program and Photo Exhibition was held. The exhibition featured fifteen best photographs of heritage sites selected from submissions by NMB Bank staffs all over Nepal. The Bank also handed over 16 dustbins to representatives from Federation of Swoyambhu Management and Conservation.

The 8^th NMB Bank Heritage Walk 2019 and clean up programs were simultaneously organized at the Bank's all seven regional offices.
