NMB Bank AGM on Mangsir 12; to endorse 20% bonus share to its shareholders

NMB Bank Limited is going to hold its Annual General Meeting on 12 Mangsir, 2071, which, inter alias, will endorse 20 percent bonus share from the net profit the commercial bank earned in the last fiscal year 2070/71.

The 19th AGM of the bank is also scheduled to increase its authorized capital from Rs.2 billion to Rs.5 billion figures and other agendas includes the approval of financial statement of FY 2070/71.

The stock trading of the bank was already halted for trading in NEPSE due to ongoing merger process with Bhrikuti Development Bank and Pathibhara Bikas Bank Limited.
 
The commercial bank had posted a slight growth of 0.77 percent in its net profit in the first quarter of the current fiscal year 2070/71.

The bank has earned a net profit of Rs 43.37 crores at the end of the previous fiscal year 2070/71.

According to an unaudited financial statement of the bank published, it achieved a net profit of Rs 14.28 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal year 2071/72, up from Rs 9.08 crore in the same period of the last fiscal year 2070/71.
