NLIC distributing 70% bonus share and 28.5% cash dividend from today

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited is distributing 70 percent bonus share and 28.5 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from today. The dividend can only be collected from Sunday to Thursday at 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and on Friday 10 a.m. to 1 p. m. from NCM Merchant Bank Limited, Kamalpokhari.

After distributing the bonus share the paid up capital will rise to Rs 1 arba 8 crore 37 lakh 50 thousand from current paid up capital worth Rs 63.75 crore.

The insurance company has been posting a very impressive profit as it collected Rs 3.46 arba, including Rs 1.5 arba in the first insurance premium fee in the current fiscal year.

In the last fiscal year also the company had distributed handsome dividend to its share holders of 70 percent and 56.31 cash dividend.

NLIC officials have claimed that the company has doubled its market share over the past three years.
