Nischal Pradhan and Surendra Bahadur Singh unanimously elected as directors in Nepal Bank, Speical GM today

Nepal bank is conducting Special General Meeting today. Nischal Pradhan, son of prominent share investor Nirmal pradhan  and  Surendra Bahadur Singh are unanimously elected as public directors in the bank as there was no other nominees.  

For the first time since 2000 AD, Public directors are going to represent in the BOD of Nepal Bank. Nepal bank is managed by Nepal Rastra Bank for around 14 years under Financial Sector Assessment Program. Four others representatives will be selected today by government on remaining post of directors.

Shareholders who own the shares of the bank till Manshir 7, will be able to participate and vote for the selection of directors.  Nepal bank had earned Rs 269 million profit in the first quarter of this fiscal year.
