Nirdhan Utthan observed Global Money Week with financial literacy programs in all provinces

Nirdhan Utthan Microfinance Financial Institution, providing the poor and deprived families with financial and non-financial services establishing branch network in all of 77 districts of the country so as to reach and impart the women in rural areas with skill-based and entrepreneurship development training as well as awareness raising programs for their economic, social and professional development, has observed Global Money Week, 21-27 March 2022.

During the week, Nirdhan Utthan in all of its Centres informed and educated the members and general public on various money related topics including financial discipline, family budget and plan, importance of savings, proper utilization of loan, clean note policy, anti-money laundering, remittance, interest rate, means of income generation and client protection. Likewise, it organized various programs on financial literacy including presentation, discussion and rally, in different locations in all seven provinces.

The financial literacy programs during the Global Money Week were organized in Gauradaha, Jhapa (Province 1); Bijayabasti, Parsa (Madhesh Province); Tandi, Chitwan (Bagmati Province); Duipiple, Lamjung (Gandaki Province); Kohalpur, Banke (Lumbini Province); Sallibazar, Salyan (Karnali Province) and Attariya, Kailali (Sudurpashchim Province).
