NIMB Ace Capital, ICRA Nepal Organize IPO Readiness Session under World Investor Week 2025

NIMB Ace Capital Limited, in collaboration with ICRA Nepal Limited, organized a half-day knowledge-sharing session titled “IPO Readiness: Risk, Rating, and Reality” on December 16, 2025, at Lisara Banquet, Naxal, Kathmandu. The program was held as part of World Investor Week 2025, a global initiative led by securities regulators under the guidance of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and implemented in Nepal as mandated by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON).

The session aimed to support companies and investors planning to enter Nepal’s capital market by providing practical, experience-based insights into the IPO process. Discussions focused on IPO preparedness, credit rating requirements, regulatory expectations, and common gaps observed during the pre-listing stage.

Expert insights were shared by Sachindra Dhungana of NIMB Ace Capital Limited on merchant banking and IPO structuring, Rajib Maharjan of ICRA Nepal Limited on credit ratings and risk assessment, and Niraj Giri, former Executive Director of SEBON, on regulatory and compliance aspects.

The organizers stated that the program was particularly beneficial for companies with existing or upcoming capital-raising plans, as well as senior management and professionals involved in finance, compliance, and capital market-related activities.
