NIC Asia opens branches at Kohalpur and Tulsipur

ShareSansar, November 5th:NIC Asia Bank Ltd has opened two more branch offices outside the valley at Kohalpur and Tulsipur.
According to a statement from the bank, its Board Director, Mr. Binod Kumar Pyakhurel, and CEO ,Mr. Sashin Joshi, jointly inaugurated the Kohalpur and Tulsipur branches amid a ceremony held recently.
With these two new branch offices coming into operation, the total number of the branches of bank has reached 66.
The bank has become one of the banks having biggest networks in the country with its 66 branches, 61 ATMs, call center and internet banking service, added the statement.
According to the unaudited financial statement of the bank published recently, it posted an operating profit and net profit of Rs 1.48 arba and Rs 83.2 crore respectively in the last fiscal year 2070/71, which is 38 percent and 30 percent higher than it has achieved in the previous fiscal year 2069/70.
Recently, the Bank’s Board of Directors has proposed a dividend of 30 percent –15 percent cash and 15 percent bonus share – to its shareholders from the last fiscal year’s earning, which is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the Bank’s Annual General Meeting.
