NIC Asia launches New Super Chamatkari Deposit schemes with 30 different facilities

NIC Asia Bank has launched the New Super Chamatkari Deposit Schemes for its customers. Marking the occasion of New Year 2020, this product has been paired with attractive interest rates and many facilities such as Insurance protection scheme, Discount on loan interest rates and processing fees, free home banking facility, free locker facility, no charge while withdrawing money from any ATM throughout the country and so on making a total of 30 benefits.

Under this scheme, the depositor will receive insurance protection upto Rs 21 lakh, of which Rs 10 lakh is against death or disability from accident, Rs 10 is against 18 fatal diseases and Rs 1 lakh is for treatments. The premium for all these schemes will be paid by the bank to Everest Insurance Company for its customers.

The depositors can choose from Silver, Gold and Diamond series depending upon their saving needs. All the accounts will be providing 6.5% interest per annum but the facilities will vary.

The attractive feature of these account is the Sweeping- Sweep out account. If the amount in deposit account exceeds Rs 2 lakh, then the excess amount will be automatically be separated by a multiple of Rs 10,000 and deposited in a 3 month fixed deposit account yielding 9.75% interest.

Similarly, the depositors can also opt monthly deposit accounts from 3 months to 10 years.

The bank currently provides its services to its customers from its 313 branches, 408 ATM terminals, 103 extension counters and 45 branchless banking units spread throughout the nation.
