NIC ASIA Laghubitta reports decent progress during Q2 2077-78; registers EPS of 21.59
Amid the growing uncertainty in the banking and financial sector in the nation due to the economic impact of COVID 19, NIC ASIA Laghubitta has stood up as one of the few microfinance institutions with a decent quarter-end performance as per the unaudited financial report published by the institution for Q2 2077-78.
During the review period, microfinance has reported an EPS of Rs 21.59 and has managed to increase its net profit to Rs 15.97 crore.
The microfinance has registered a credit disbursement figure of Rs 8.55 arba and registered a deposit collection figure of Rs 1.04 arba, demonstrated an impressive NPL figure of 0.96%, despite all sorts of challenges.
NIC ASIA Laghubitta is currently under a process to begin a joint operation with Swadeshi Laghubitta after the successful merger process following which the revamped institution will have 205 branches under its network.
