NIC Asia Laghubitta Reported Massive Increment in Major Indicators in Fourth Quarter; Here’s Why

NIC Asia Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NICLBSL) published the fourth-quarter report of FY 2077/2078 with an impressive 221.49% increment in Net Profit. As per the report published by the company, the net profit increased to Rs. 56.47 crores as compared to Rs. 17.56 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The growth in major variables seen this quarter is also due to the inclusion of Swadeshi Laghubitta's financials.
The borrowings of the company increased by 167% to Rs. 15.59 Arba which was Rs. 5.84 Arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company’s loans and advances have also increased by 140% to 16.89 Arba in this quarter.
The net interest income (core revenue) has increased by 175.93% to Rs. 1.31 arba compared to Rs. 47.75 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company stood at Rs. 1.73 Arba in this quarter and its reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 93.52 crore which is an increase of 233.56% in this quarter.
Its earnings per share (EPS) stand at Rs. 32.46. The net worth per share is Rs. 153.77. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 47.59 times.
